Star-shaped
styrene-isoprene-butadiene rubber(SIBR) with different number of arms possesses an
excellent combination of low rolling resistance and anti-wet-gripping, which has found
application in making high-performance tires. In order to obtain the desired relative
molecular mass(Mw) and relative molecular mass distribution(MWD),SIBR was prepared using a
multifunctional lithium initiator via a single-step anionic polymerization procedure. |
