Melt grafting of
unsaturated monomers to polyolefin in the presence of organic peroxide as an initiator has
received much attention in the past decade[1].However,the maleation of ethylene-vinyl
acetate(EVA) copolymers has been mentioned few.Considering the presence of vinyl acetate
(VA) groups in the EVA copolymers exerts a strong influence on the polarity,the melt
functionalization of EVA using maleic anhydride (MAH) as graft monomer was studied. |
