In-situ polymerization inside mesoporous silica (Si) has been investigated to improve silica compatibility with polymer. In this work, butadiene coordination polymerization catalyzed by MoCl5 substituted by 1-octanol (Mo) and Al(i-Bu)3 (Al) at presence of mesoporous silica was researched. The resulted polybutadiene (PB)filled with Si was mixed with SBR 1502 and vulcanized then. The experiment also tested the tensile properties of the vulcanized SBR blended by PB filled lon'th Si.
