The mechanism and the kinetics of the synthesis of styrene-butadiene copolymers have been deeply investigated, and some important conclusions have been summarized in related reports and literatures [1, 2]. In this article, a new styrene-butadiene copolymer with excellent optic properties initiated by n-BuLi (represented as Li following) in cyclohexane was synthesized, which comprised a polystyrene homogeneous segment, a poly(styrene-butadiene) random segment and a small homogeneous polybutadiene segment, and the effect of the mole ratio of THF/Li and the injecting time of the monomer mixture which formed the poly(styrene-butadiene) random segment were investigated by the orthogonal tests based on the two main factors to reduce the haze of the copolymer.…… |
